Hi, I’m Marlee
About Me:
Hi, I’m Marlee—a licensed therapist passionate about helping people grow through meaningful connection, both with themselves and with others. I believe that transformation starts when we begin to understand our inner world—how our past experiences, especially early relationships, shape the way we relate, communicate, and care for ourselves today.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, and I’m passionate about helping clients gently explore and reshape the core relational beliefs that may be contributing to challenges like anxiety, depression, or difficulties in connection. Together, we’ll work to build a stronger sense of self and create more secure, authentic relationships—with partners, family, friends, and, most importantly, with yourself.
In therapy, I take a warm, collaborative approach, meeting you exactly where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Our work will be tailored to your unique story, using tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing to support emotional regulation, deeper insight, and lasting change. When working with couples, I especially use EFT to help partners reconnect, heal relational wounds, and deepen their emotional bonds.
For those interested, I also offer counseling from a Christian perspective. This optional, faith-based approach integrates biblical principles and spiritual support into the therapeutic process. Whether or not you choose to incorporate faith, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
